Abstract
This research is conducted to analyse cellular phone design based on user-centered design among students. User-centered design method used was usability testing by analysing the emotional usability through conjoint analysis in order to know the desired cellular phone combination. Behaviour usability was also used through QWERTY keypad usability assessment. This research proved that the desired cellular phone design are candybar model (4×10 cm), QWETY designed-keypad, and 2-3 cm touchscreen. The efficiency, performance, feedback, design and satisfaction rating of QWERTY keypad is higher than 12-button keypad. Yet, it also resulted higher effort and frustration level.
