Industrial Engineering Design is a course where students in the 6th semester learn how to conduct product development process by considering the interaction between material, human resources and production process and able to analyze technical and financial aspects of the NPD project for commercialization.

Syllabus: Introduction to NPD Process, Overview of Stage-Gate Model and Concurrent Engineering, Analysis of Material and Technology Utilization, Design Considerations, Financial Analysis of Project, Market and Functionality Testing, Production Capacity Planning, Commercialization, Implementation of NPD Process, Presentation of NPD Project.
Prerequisite(s): Product Design, Industrial Feasibility Analysis
